Digi-Key Distributes Silicon Laboratories |

Thief River Falls, Minn. - Digi-Key Corp. has announced a distribution agreement with Silicon Laboratories Inc., a designer of analog-intensive, mixed-signal ICs. Under the agreement, Digi-Key will distribute Silicon Laboratories' 8-bit microcontroller (MCU) product portfolio as well as wireline, networking and synthesizer products.
"Digi-Key is pleased to offer Silicon Laboratories' unique product portfolio," said Tim Sanghera, vice-president of semiconductor products, Digi-Key. "With one of the largest customer bases in the industry and close ties to the design and engineering communities, Digi-Key aims to broaden Silicon Laboratories' reach within a variety of markets."

Silicon Laboratories offers a broad portfolio of easy-to-use, highly-integrated, mixed-signal ICs including globally-compliant embedded modems, low-jitter clocking solutions, RF synthesizers and an MCU portfolio that includes small form factor MCUs, precision mixed-signal devices, USB and CAN controllers, general purpose MCUs and USB to UART bridge solutions.
Digi-Key is a full-service provider of prototype/design as well as production volume quantities of electronic components.
