 The NVG 2020 is an ultra-sensitive radiometer designed for measuring the night vision radiance of displays and instrument panels used with night vision goggles.
Developed under a contract from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the NVG 2020 detects as little as 0.3 femtowatts (0.3 x 10-15W) of optical energy and features a temperature-stabilized detector that maintains 0.01% linearity over a dynamic range of more than 1,000,000 to one. Total dynamic range, spans eight separate decades.
